Last Will and Testament of Mary BLISS, 1697

In the name of God Amen - I Mary BLISS of Stow with Nine Churches being weak in my body but of sound memory praised be God for it does make this my last will and testament in manner and form following.

I commit my soul into the house of my Creator hoping through the merits of my Redeemer Christ Jesus to obtain ye redemption of all my sins and all ye ??? of ye deed to obtain eternal happiness and as to ??? worldly things and goods whatsoever such hath lent me I firstly give and bequeath to my son Richard BLISS and Elizabeth BLISS and Mary BLISS my daughters equally to be divided amongst them three and I appoint them to be my Executors of this my last will in witness whereof I have hereunder put my hand and seal this fifth day of June 1697
