Police Direct now has well over 25,000 people receiving messages direct from Suffolk Constabulary. This is good news and Police Direct continues to grow with new people subscribing every day.

Superintendent Phil Aves, who heads the Suffolk Constabulary Citizen Focus Department says, We currently have over 25,000 local people receiving Police Direct messages but we want to bring the service to as many people as possible. I urge everyone to encourage friends and relations to join the scheme. If everyone got just one other person to join we would have over 50,000 on the scheme, that would be a real achievement.

To register people can go to www.suffolk.police.uk and follow the Police Direct links, or by completing a leaflet obtainable from your local police station or by calling 01473 613997.

Sgt Bob Chapman,
