| I have lived in Occold for approximately 13 years and have recently retired after enduring the daily commute to London for almost the whole of this period. I am now intending to become more involved in the local community and, consequently, have volunteered to fill the role of Footpath Warden for Occold, when the position becomes vacant in May. I have also agreed to act as coordinator for the Mid-Suffolk Hedgerow Survey in the Occold area. I am neutral in party political terms but have an interest in the environment and good stewardship of the countryside. I would welcome the opportunity to express these views in council deliberations and act as a voice on the council for those of a similar mind. |
