| The ladies driving challenge went extremely well with 18 ladies pledging £1,569 worth of sponsorship to the charity. Everyone had a brilliant time and there were smiles of glee all around with the HGV's coming out on top of the favourite list again this year. We will be doing it all again next year but are now concentrating our efforts on finalising the details of the Summer Ball to be held at Athelington Hall, Horham, on 1st July 2006. | We still have tickets available at only £30.00 each and a good fun evening is assured with music from AFTERSHOCK, a superb meal being arranged by Perfict Parties and an Auction of Promises with items from spending a day with the police dog unit, a pamper day at Centre Parcs, to getting a 1/2 day's ironing done by the project director!. The S.A.F.E. Charity is promoted by the Safeguarding Children Partnership, three of whose seven staff work from home in Occold. The charity has two major fund raising events this summer. The first is a Ladies Driving Challenge at ‘RAF Bentwaters’ (Nr Woodbridge) on Sunday June 11th. Ladies you are cordially invited to join them for a fun packed morning driving HGVs, 4 X 4’s, Buses, Sports Cars, Quad Bikes and a host of other vehicles. Entry price is £32.00, then gain sponsorship for SAFE while having loads of fun. Prepare yourselves for a thrill!. | On Saturday 1st July they are holding their 3rd Anniversary Charity Ball at Athelington Hall. Tickets are £30; why not make up a table?
