![]() | The Tree House is the Society’s own research centre situated in the grounds of Orwell High School at Maidstone Road, Felixstowe, IP11 9ED. It was built in 2001 from money donated by members, and furnished with money awarded by National Lottery funding. |
![]() | It was formally opened on Saturday, 8th December 2001, by the Right Honourable John Gummer, MP, with the Mayor and Mayoress (Harry and Pam Dangerfield) of Felixstowe in attendance. |
![]() | Open to members and visitors Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am - 12 noon and 2 pm - 4pm - subject to volunteers being available to man it. We suggest you telephone the Reading Room Supervisor on 01 394 270 688 before travelling for the latest information on opening times. It is also open on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7:30pm with members on hand to advise and assist. |
